Pop Art

This is a pop art photograph. This was originated by Andy Warhal. He had this project much harder than I did because he didn't have Photoshop. First, I had to take mug shots of myself, with the help of Esteban Marin. I took 9 photos and did the normal exposure, shutter speed, and all that. I went into Photoshop and edited every photo, fixing the tone, contrast, and color. I then proceeded to cut myself out of the photo. Then, I changed the artistic features of the photo by changing the brightness and selecting the 'cutout' filter. Then, I put all my images onto one canvas. Then, I changed the background color and selected different colors on each photo. Then, I changed the color of me by pressing "Shift + U". Finally, I compressed the photo and this is my final photo!

HDR Photography

This is a picture of my school, Orange Glen. I took this picture during photo class around 1:00pm. In order to take this photo, I needed a tripod and a camera. I put the camera on the tripod and took many photos. First, I started with a regular photo, with normal exposure and it was just like a picture I would normally take. Then, I took one photo on -1, then moved to -2 then -3. Then, I went to +1, +2, and finally, +3. Then after taking seven photos, I went into Photoshop. I first started out by uploading my images onto the computer and went to Photoshop and clicked <file>, <automate>, then <Merge to HDR Pro>.Then Photoshop automatically stacks the images to make one. I then made the colors more vibrant and finally; I got my final image!

Panoramic!

This is a panoramic photograph of Dixon Lake. My friends and I were there from about 1:00pm - 8:00pm and we were fishing. I took this photo around 7:30 and got the pinkish color of the sunset. I took about 40 photos to get this one. I used my tripod to keep the camera steady while I took the photos. I then proceeded to go into Adobe Photoshop to "stitch" the photo together. I found it challenging to stitch the photos together to fit perfectly. I think this shot is great and really shows some color. Although, Escondido is a little brown and dead, the water is blue and the sunset looks pinkish, orange, and the photo fits well together.

About Me

My name is Anthony Mitchell. I currently go to Orange Glen High School. I'm 17 years old and I'm a senior. I would describe myself as a shy person, but I can cheer someone up easily. I enjoy biking, fishing, play pool and hanging out with my close friends. My career goal is to be a surgeon, most likely cadiotherastics or general surgery. I want to be able to help someone live another day and to change their life completely. Photography is a fun thing to do, it's more of a hobby for me and I enjoy is because I've been around cameras since I was a little kid. Photography is a great way to show people who you really are and to show them how you see the world.

Multiplicity Photo

I took this picture at Orange Glen High School right before the ABC launch party. They had set up an inflatable obstacle course and I thought of the best idea. I thought I could get Esteban to run though the obstacle course while I take pictures. I took the picture using a Canon Rebel and used a tripod. With the use of a tripod, I was able to keep the camera in one place. After taking about 10-15 photos, I then went into the editing process. I went into Photoshop and completed a lot of editing. I went in, and cleaned the photos up and then cut out the subject. After many attempts and fails, I flattened the image and got my final photography! I took this picture because it was a once in a lifetime kind of picture. The obstacle course was set up and was only there for one day. I thought it would be the perfect picture. Although Esteban is somewhat small, there's many of him and he can be seen throughout the photo.
